My exit strategy is to sell my business in the next few years for a large return. The reason I have selected this particular strategy is because I am not particularly passionate about the product I am currently pursuing. Though the Porta-Chair has been a fun venture to work on, I would like to put my time and effort elsewhere. As stated in a previous post, I would like to pursue a venture where my passions reside. This would likely be in the automotive or fashion industry. Additionally, I do believe that my exit strategy has influenced the decisions I have made in my concept. Because I did not intend for the Porta-Chair to be a long-term commitment I went about establishing the concept to be sold within a few years. It has without a doubt affected my venture’s plans for growth. I planned to accumulate as much growth as possible in these next few years in order to generate the capital necessary to pursue my next venture.
Hi Alexander,
ReplyDeleteNice job with your exit strategy. It sounds like you have a good exit strategy. I agree that you should pursue ventures that align with your interests. I think that it is a good idea to accumulate as much growth in the short run as you can with your current venture, and use those profits and capital to pursue other options.
Hey Alexander,
ReplyDeleteI really like your exit strategy. I find it interesting how you plan on using this venture as the stepping stone to the next one, as your work in this class would have been a valuable learning experience for undertaking new and interesting venture.
